Tony moved from Italy to the Bronx at just seven years old, where he learned early on the value of hard work and community. That entrepreneurial spark showed up early — in 1989, he and his cousins bought their first business together, one that still proudly serves the Castle Hill neighborhood today.

After joining his father-in-law in construction in the late 1990’s, Tony discovered his true passion for building and creating opportunity. In 2006, he partnered with his father-in-law, Mike Pilla Sr and brother-in-law, Mike Pilla Jr, to found D.P. Group General Contractors.

For Tony, construction has always been about more than just building — it’s about improving neighborhoods, creating local jobs, and giving back to the communities that helped shape him.
